After two boys were denied cannabis oil for treatment for their medical conditions (one having his medication removed at the airport), the outcry that followed has made the government allow the first ever medical use of cannabis in the country.
However, its only for three specific cases and even one of the boys (if they applied now) would not receive it, as would many, many other people, including people in extreme pain and terminally ill cancer patients – leaving them to find alternatives still.
I have never done any drugs, I even have shied away from medicines for years, but in recent years, I have seen the need for medicinal cannabis for terminally ill people or people is chronic pain. Looks like the UK government will move very slowly though, even though other parts of the world are not.
